Measuring Blinds
Taking Measurements for a Blind to be Installed Within the Window Recess
- Use a tape measure and determine the width of the visible window frame at the top, middle, and bottom. Write down the smallest measurement.
- Next, measure the height (drop) of the visible window frame on both sides and the middle. Again, write down the smallest measurement.
- Rest assured, there's no need for you to make any deductions; our team will handle that, ensuring the perfect fit for your window.
Roller Blinds
For roller blinds, you only need to measure the width at the top of the recess only. This is due to the fabric being less wide than the overall width of the blind, which incorporates the controls and brackets.

Fixing & Controls
Multi-directional brackets are supplied which can be face fixed or top
fixed to the wall or inside the window recess. Screws and wall plugs are not
supplied as we don’t know what surface you are installing onto.
Fabric Tolerance & Weight
Blinds are made within a 5mm manufacturer tolerance on the width and
drop. The width measurement provided allows for the bracket and operating
mechanism to fit neatly. The roller fabric will be approximately 35mm less than
the overall blind width. Blinds over 275cm wide will be heavy due to the
material, we recommend splitting them into two blinds. Larger blinds over 200cm
wide and 200cm drop will require a join in the fabric.
